Where does the customer’s payment go?

The connected business receives the remaining balance after Conecto’s 5% transaction fee and applicable Stripe processing fees. Conecto never holds the merchant’s balance.

What does Conecto Pay cost?

Conecto charges 5% per transaction. Stripe processing fees apply in addition and vary by payment method and connected-account country.

Does my customer need a Conecto account?

No. They open the secure Stripe-hosted checkout directly from the payment request, then return to the same conversation.

Who can request a payment?

Owners and admins decide. Access can be granted to one agent, an entire department, or everyone with a specific title. Viewers remain blocked.

What happens after the payment is complete?

The original request becomes paid for both sides. The processed receipt stays attached beneath it, ready to open from the thread.

Which conversations support Conecto Pay?

Conecto Pay currently supports customer conversations in the Conecto web chat widget.

Which currencies can I request?

Payment requests support USD, EUR, GBP, SEK, NOK, DKK and CHF. Available payment methods depend on the connected business’s country and Stripe settings.

Who handles refunds and disputes?

The connected business manages refunds and disputes in its Stripe Dashboard. When a payment is refunded, Conecto’s application fee is refunded proportionally.

Where is Conecto Pay available?

Eligible businesses can use Conecto Pay in countries supported by Stripe Connect. Payment methods and payout availability depend on the connected account’s country and settings.
