What is Beside?
Beside is a website assistant from Conecto that can see the page a visitor is on. It answers questions in chat or by voice, points at the exact button or section, takes visitors to the right page, presses buttons and fills in fields when they ask, and hands the conversation to a person with the page attached.
How is Beside different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers in text and leaves the visitor to find the thing it described. Beside reads the page itself, so it can point at the product, open the right page or fill in the field. The answer and the next step happen in the same place.
Will it press buttons or pay for things on its own?
No. Beside presses a button or fills in a field only when the visitor asks for it or says yes. It never pays, submits a payment or deletes anything, and it never submits a form for the visitor. They always check and send it themselves.
Which websites does Beside work on?
Any website where you can add Conecto’s one line of code. On Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Shopware 6 stores it can also read the cart, so it can answer questions about what the visitor is buying.
Does Beside help visitors who find websites hard to use?
