What is Conecto Phone?
An add-on for Conecto Chat that answers your inbound calls. You give it your business facts, choose a voice and a language, and connect either a Conecto number or your existing line. It answers from the same knowledge base as your chat agent, can book appointments in your calendar, and writes the transcript, recording and summary into the same shared inbox.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You can rent a Conecto number in the country you need, or keep the number you have and set call forwarding with your carrier — all calls, or only the ones you miss or cannot answer. To go back to answering yourself, pause answering in Conecto and turn forwarding off.
Can it use my own voice?
Yes. Record about a minute in a quiet room, or upload an audio file, confirm that the voice is yours, and the assistant speaks in it. You can also pick a voice from the library, and adjust speaking speed and consistency.
Can it book appointments?
Connect Google Calendar to manage bookings. An ICS/iCalendar feed can show availability but cannot write bookings back to that calendar.
Are callers told it is an AI, and are calls recorded?
For inbound calls, a short notice in the selected voice asks the caller to press 1 to agree to recording and transcription before the AI conversation starts.
What does it cost?
