What is Conecto Phone?
Conecto Phone is an AI receptionist add-on for inbound business calls. Connect an available Conecto number or forward your existing line, choose a voice and give the agent approved business knowledge. With caller consent, recordings and transcripts can appear in the same shared inbox as website chat; a writable connected calendar can support bookings where available.
Is the Studio Living call on this page a real customer call?
No. The Studio Living screens are an illustrative example of a caller asking about opening hours and a fitting. Use the Call me control to request a separate live demonstration call. Number availability, forwarding and calendar write access depend on your setup.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You can rent a Conecto number in the country you need, or keep the number you have and set call forwarding with your carrier — all calls, or only the ones you miss or cannot answer. To go back to answering yourself, pause answering in Conecto and turn forwarding off.
Can it use my own voice?
Yes. Record about a minute in a quiet room, or upload an audio file, confirm that the voice is yours, and the assistant speaks in it. You can also pick a voice from the library, and adjust speaking speed and consistency.
Can it book appointments?
Connect a writable Google Calendar to manage bookings where the connection is available. An ICS/iCalendar feed can show availability but cannot write bookings back to that calendar.
Are callers told it is an AI, and are calls recorded?
For inbound calls, a short notice in the selected voice asks the caller to press 1 to agree to recording and transcription before the AI conversation starts.
What does it cost?
Phone works with every Chat plan, including Free. The plan cards show the monthly Phone price, included credits and approximate minutes; actual usage determines the minutes available.
