Use it when

One part of a page changes: a new FAQ, a banner, a section moved up.

What it does

Add, update, move, duplicate or remove sections on one page of the DRAFT, in order. add: {op:"add", type, props?, style?, at?}; update: {op:"update", id, props?, style?} (merged into what is there); move: {op:"move", id, to}; duplicate / remove: {op, id}. Returns the id of anything added and the page’s new order.

What comes back

rev, warnings, dirty and a preview link, the result of each change (with the id of anything added), and the page's sections in their new order. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.

A refused call costs nothing and says what to do next.
