Use it when

The business tracks something in rows and columns that has no area of its own.

For customers, companies and deals, use crm_save_contact.
For tasks with statuses and assignees, use tasks_create.
For stock of the business's products, use inventory_save_items.

What it does

A table with typed columns: text, long_text, number (with decimals or a currency), checkbox, date, datetime, select and multi_select (with options), email, url, phone, or file (a file_id from the file store). Values are checked against their column on the way in. Up to 100 columns and 100,000 rows.

What comes back

table: its table_id, name, description, row count and columns. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.

When it refuses

A refused call costs nothing and says what to do next.

Code	When	What to do
`invalid_input`400	A column has no name or a name in use, an unknown type, a select without options, or a currency that is not a 3-letter code.	Give each column its own name, a type from the list, and options for select columns.
`name_taken`409	A table has that name already.	Pick another name.
`limit_reached`409	The business has 50 tables already.	Delete one with tables_delete.
