Zapier MCP alternatives in 2026
Zapier MCP connects an AI agent to more than 9,000 apps, and each successful tool call uses two tasks from your Zapier plan. Of the six alternatives below, some charge per call or per credit, some run on your own server, and one hosts the business tools itself. We read each vendor's pages on October 15, 2026.
What Zapier MCP does, and what it costs
Zapier MCP gives an agent 30,000+ actions across 9,000+ apps, with Zapier handling each app's sign-in and the permissions you allow.1 It works with Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and any other client that supports Streamable HTTP.3 It is available on every Zapier account,2 and each successful tool call uses two tasks from the same quota your Zaps use.3
On Zapier's pricing page, the Free plan includes 100 tasks a month, which covers 50 tool calls. Professional starts at $19.99 a month and Team at $69 a month, billed annually, with more tasks the more you pay.2

Composio
Composio gives Claude, Codex or another agent access to 1,500+ tools, and it sells a developer platform with SDKs, tool execution and sign-in for the agents you build.4 Its free Hobby plan includes 100,000 tool calls and 50,000 triggers a month, unlimited connected accounts and three team members, and usage pauses at the cap. Pro costs $29 a month and includes $29 of usage, which doesn't roll over, plus unlimited team members and spend caps.4 For most uses, Composio's docs recommend sessions, which give an agent dynamic access to tools and manage its context.5
Good for: developers building an agent that many people connect their own accounts to.
Pipedream
Pipedream runs a dedicated MCP server for every app it supports, with 10,000+ prebuilt tools, and manages each account's OAuth. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and requests go through Pipedream's servers, so the model never sees them. You can connect your own accounts at mcp.pipedream.com, or add Pipedream to your product through Pipedream Connect.6 Building and testing are free. The Startup plan for production costs $99 a month billed annually, or $150 monthly, and includes 100 of your users and 10,000 credits a month, where a tool call uses one credit per 30 seconds of compute.7
Good for: a product team that wants its users' apps available to its agent.
n8n
n8n's MCP Server Trigger node turns n8n into an MCP server. It exposes the tools and workflows you attach at a URL, over Streamable HTTP or SSE, and you choose no authentication, bearer auth or header auth.8 The cloud Starter plan costs €20 a month billed annually for 2,500 workflow executions, and Pro costs €50 a month for 10,000. A self-hosted Community Edition is on GitHub.9
Good for: a team with a technical person who wants to design and own every workflow the agent can run. Each new task starts as a workflow you build.
Make
Make's MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other clients run your active and on-demand scenarios on any plan. On paid plans the agent can also view and change scenarios, connections, webhooks, data stores and teams. You connect with OAuth or an MCP token.10 Make bills in credits, and most actions use one credit. The Free plan includes 1,000 credits a month, Core costs $9 a month billed annually for 10,000 credits, and Make lists 3,500+ apps.11
Good for: a business that already runs its processes as Make scenarios.
Activepieces
Activepieces runs one MCP server for the whole platform, covering 760+ apps, and lists Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT among its clients. The server is included on every plan, in the cloud or self-hosted, and the core is MIT licensed. Connections use OAuth2 with limited scopes, and credentials are stored with 256-bit encryption, with no API to read them back.12 The Free plan includes 1,000 credits a month for up to five users. Plus costs $20 a month for 10,000 credits, then $0.007 a credit.13
Good for: teams that want open source, or to host everything themselves.
Conecto
Conecto is our product. It hosts the business tools themselves: a CRM, an inbox on your business's own subdomain, a phone line, invoices, bookkeeping, a help desk, a calendar and more. There are 581 tools in 52 areas behind one MCP server address, and each area also has a server of its own. Conecto also reaches a company's own Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, HubSpot and Salesforce, and its other APIs through connections limited to the calls you allow. Your agent signs up with one call and gets $1.00 of credit. Reading is free up to a million reads a month, a change costs $0.01, and each key spends at most $20 a day until you raise it.14
Good for: a business that wants its agent to run the CRM, inbox, phone and books in one place, paid from one balance. For dozens of other apps, a connector platform above fits better.
