Composio alternatives in 2026

Composio gives an AI agent 1,500+ toolkits and handles each user's sign-in, and its free Hobby plan includes 100,000 tool calls a month. The seven alternatives below differ in how they charge, where they run and how the agent signs in. We read each vendor's own pages on November 8, 2026.

What Composio does, and what it costs

Composio sells a developer platform with SDKs, tools and sign-in for agents and backend apps. It also connects Claude or ChatGPT to the apps a person already uses, such as Gmail, Slack, Notion and Calendar.1 Every plan includes its 1,500+ toolkits.1

The free Hobby plan includes 100,000 tool calls and 50,000 triggers a month, unlimited connected accounts and three team members, and usage pauses at those limits. Pro costs $29 a month and includes $29 of credit that expires at the end of each month. Past the free amounts, each tool call on Pro uses $0.0003 of credit.1 For most uses, Composio's docs recommend sessions, which give an agent dynamic access to tools and manage its context.2

How we picked

Each platform below gives an agent ready-made tools for other apps and handles the sign-in to them, which is the job Composio does. Each one publishes its prices or says how it charges. Conecto is our product. It is listed last, and it works another way: it hosts the business tools itself.

Nango

Nango handles sign-in for 1,200+ APIs and MCP servers, stores and refreshes each credential, and offers 10,000+ prebuilt tools, triggers and syncs. You can extend them or write your own.3 The free plan has hard limits that reset each month: 10 connections, 10 hours of compute and 10 GB of data transfer. Pay-as-you-go costs $50 a month with $50 of credit, then $0.29 a connection, $0.72 an hour of compute and $0.50 a GB. Self-hosting comes with the Enterprise plan.3

Good for: a team that wants to write and own its integration code.

Arcade

Arcade gives agents 8,000+ permission-aware tools, and you can add MCP servers you build or bring. Sign-in runs through your company's identity provider, and the agent acts as its user, within that user's permissions.5 The free plan includes 2,000 tool calls a month. Team costs $25 a month plus $0.01 a tool call. Enterprise can run on Arcade's cloud, in your own cloud or fully air-gapped.4

Good for: agents that act for individual employees, under the company's own access rules.

Pipedream Connect

Pipedream Connect is for developers who add connectors to their agents and apps. It offers 3,000+ connectors and 10,000+ prebuilt tools and triggers, with MCP servers on every plan.6 Building and testing are free. Serving real users takes the Startup plan, at $99 a month billed annually or $150 billed monthly. It includes 100 users and 10,000 usage credits, then $2 a user and $0.012 a credit.6

Good for: a product whose own users connect their accounts to its agent.

Merge Agent Handler

Merge Agent Handler connects agents to thousands of business tools, and users sign in to each one through a guided flow.7 It manages credentials and permissions and keeps an audit trail of every tool call. The free plan includes 2,000 credits a month and unlimited registered users. Pro costs $1,000 a month for 25,000 credits, and Enterprise adds on-premises deployment and custom connectors.8

Good for: software companies whose customers ask for a log of everything the agent did.

Scalekit AgentKit

Scalekit's AgentKit connects each tool, signs the user in and limits the tool to that user's access.9 It lists 600+ connectors and 30,000+ tools and charges per tool call. The free plan includes 10,000 tool calls a month and unlimited connected accounts. Growth costs $99 a month for 100,000 tool calls, then $0.50 per 1,000.10

Good for: teams that want a flat price per tool call.

Paragon ActionKit

Paragon's ActionKit gives an AI agent product 1,000+ integration actions through one API or MCP server.11 Every Paragon plan includes ActionKit beside Paragon's data sync and workflow products, with usage set by your number of connected users. The pricing page offers a free trial and lists no amounts.12

Good for: a software company that also wants data syncs and workflows from the same vendor.

Zapier MCP

Zapier MCP lets an agent search 9,000+ apps and 66,000+ triggers and actions for the right tool.13 Each successful tool call uses two tasks from your Zapier plan, and failed calls don't count.14 The Free plan includes 100 tasks a month. Professional starts at $19.99 a month and Team at $69.15 We compare it with six other options in Zapier MCP alternatives.

Good for: one person connecting their own agent to many apps, with no code.

Conecto

Conecto is our product. It hosts the business tools themselves, among them a CRM, an inbox on your business's own subdomain, invoices, bookkeeping, a help desk and a calendar. There are 581 tools in 52 areas behind one MCP server, https://api.conecto.chat/v1/mcp.16,17 Your agent signs itself up and gets $1.00 of credit. Reading is free up to 1,000,000 reads a month, a record change costs $0.01, a failed call costs nothing, and each key starts with a $20 daily budget.16

Good for: a business whose own agent runs its CRM, inbox and books, paid per call. To connect apps your users already have, a platform above fits better.
