What it does
Companies that could buy a company: in its industry, or in the value chain you name (suppliers, customers, adjacent industries), at least twice its size, in any country (registers where Conecto reads them, the businesses on the map elsewhere). Give the target as a company id, or as its industries with its headcount or revenue in euros. Each buyer comes back scored out of 100 for industry, size against the target, country and its own acquisitions on record (mergers_search), with its reasons.
What comes back
companies (the buyers: id, name, country, number, city, industry, employees, revenue, score, reasons, source), considered, unavailable, notes and scoring. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.

The call
Over MCP, call longlists_buyers on https://api.conecto.chat/mcp/longlists. Over REST:
curl -X POST https://api.conecto.chat/v1/tools/longlists_buyers \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CONECTO_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"target":{"industries":["28.93"],"employees":30,"revenue_eur":6000000,"country":"FR"},"countries":["FR","NO"],"limit":5}'When it refuses
A refused call costs nothing and says what to do next.
| Code | When | What to do |
|---|---|---|
invalid_input400 | No target, an industry code that isn't NACE, or a country whose register can't be searched by industry. | Give the target as a company id, or as its industries with its size. |
not_found404 | The register has no company with that id. | Find it with companies_search. |
unavailable503 | None of the registers asked answered. | Try again in a minute. |
