# Find buyers for a company (`longlists_buyers`)

Companies that could buy a company, in its industry or the value chain you name and at least twice its size, scored out of 100.

Companies that could buy a company: in its industry, or in the value chain you name (suppliers, customers, adjacent industries), at least twice its size, in any country (registers where Conecto reads them, the businesses on the map elsewhere). Give the target as a company id, or as its industries with its headcount or revenue in euros. Each buyer comes back scored out of 100 for industry, size against the target, country and its own acquisitions on record (mergers_search), with its reasons.

Price: $0.05 per buyer returned. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Use it when

When selling a company, to find the strategic buyers to approach first.

- For companies to buy, use [longlists_find](https://conecto.chat/tools/longlists/longlists_find.md).

## Say this to your agent

> Our competitor in Lyon, 30 staff and €6 million revenue, may sell. Which bigger companies in our industry could buy it?

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description | Allowed values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| `target` | object | yes | The company to sell: its id, or its industries, size and country. | | |
| `target.company` | string | no | A company id from companies_search. Up to 40 characters. | | |
| `target.industries` | array of strings | no | NACE Rev. 2 codes: a division (28), a group (28.9) or a class (28.93). Norway and newer Finnish filings are on NACE Rev. 2.1, searched under what each code became. 1 to 10 items. | | |
| `target.employees` | integer | no | 1 to 10,000,000,000,000. | | |
| `target.revenue_eur` | number | no | 1 to 10,000,000,000,000. | | |
| `target.country` | string | no | Matches ^[A-Za-z]{2}$. | | |
| `value_chain` | array of objects | no | Industries along the value chain, with their role towards the target. Up to 10 items. | | |
| `value_chain[].code` | string | yes, in each item of `value_chain` | Up to 8 characters. | | |
| `value_chain[].role` | string | yes, in each item of `value_chain` | | `"supplier"`, `"customer"`, `"adjacent"` | |
| `countries` | array of strings | no | The countries to search, as ISO codes ("DE", "BR") or names ("Germany", "Brasil"). Any country works: one whose register Conecto reads comes from it, every other from the businesses on the map (Overture Maps, and OpenStreetMap daily in Germany). Left out: the registers Conecto reads. 1 to 30 items. | | |
| `limit` | integer | no | 1 to 100. | | `25` |
