Use it when

The business has a policy its staff must confirm they read: AI use, conduct, security.

For a document kept on a person's record, use hr_save_document.

What it does

A policy people must read and confirm (an AI use policy, a code of conduct, a security policy), in Markdown, for everyone or some departments. Changing its title or text makes a new version, which needs confirming again. Send it with hr_send_policy. $0.001.

What comes back

policy: its name, title, version, departments and who in scope confirmed it, is waiting or was never sent it; created: whether it is new. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.
