When companies_financials finds no figures for a UK company, which is how big private companies file: as scans.
- For figures a register publishes as data, use
companies_financials. - For the statements in the saved PDF, use
companies_read_accounts.
What it does
A UK company's annual accounts as filed with Companies House, saved to the file store as the PDF it holds: the latest, or those made up to made_up_to (a year or a date). Big companies file theirs as scans, which no register publishes as figures: companies_read_accounts then reads the statements by OCR, and documents_page_images shows the pages to check. Saving the same filing again gives back the file already saved.
What comes back
company, name, made_up_to, filed, accounts_type, pages, scan (no text in the PDF, so it is read by OCR), machine_readable (also filed as data), already_saved, file (file_id, name, download_url) and next. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.
