Use it when

To find requests waiting for a decision, or someone's planned leave.

What it does

Leave requests, latest start first, each with its request_id: filter by person, status (pending ones wait for hr_decide_leave), leave type, or dates (requests that touch from-to).

What comes back

requests: each with its request_id, person, type, dates, days, status and note; and the total. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.

Inputs

`status`	string	One of: pending,approved,declined,cancelled.
`leave_type`	string	A leave type by name, e.g. "Vacation". 1 to 60 characters.
`from`	string	YYYY-MM-DD. Matches ^\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}$.
`to`	string	YYYY-MM-DD. Matches ^\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}$.
`limit`	integer	1 to 500. Default: 100.
`offset`	integer	At least 0. Default: 0.

When it refuses

A refused call costs nothing and says what to do next.

Code	When	What to do
`not_found`404	No person of the business has that person_id or work email.	Find them with hr_list_people.
`not_found`404	No leave type has that name.	Call hr_get_settings, or add it with hr_save_leave_type.
`invalid_input`400	A date is not a date like 2026-10-01, or from is after to.	Fix the date.
