Show someone the stats
A one-time link to a page that shows a site's stats to a person.
Free
This tool costs nothing to call.
An example
Make me a page with last week's website numbers that I can show Luis at Monday's meeting.
Your agent callsanalytics_view_linkFree
The example business is Halverson Cycle & Repair, a bike shop with a repair workshop in Portland, Oregon. The reply is the one the tool really gives.
{
"site": "halversoncycle.example",
"period": "7d"
}Use it when
A person (the owner, a colleague) should see the website numbers on a page.
- For the numbers as data for the agent to read, use
analytics_stats. - For a page of any other numbers, charts or tables, use
view_show.
What it does
A one-time link to a page with the site's stats for a person to look at: visitors and how they changed, a chart by day, channels, pages (each with its heatmap), sources, countries, devices, goals and speed. The first browser that opens it keeps it for an hour; an unopened link expires after 7 days. Conecto keeps no dashboard: make a link whenever someone should see the numbers (view_show draws anything else).
What comes back
The link, that it opens once, when an unopened link expires, and a note: the first browser that opens it keeps it for an hour. Every reply also carries cost_usd and balance_usd.

The call
Over MCP, call analytics_view_link on https://api.conecto.chat/mcp/analytics. Over REST:
curl -X POST https://api.conecto.chat/v1/tools/analytics_view_link \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CONECTO_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"site":"halversoncycle.example","period":"7d"}'When it refuses
A refused call costs nothing and says what to do next.
| Code | When | What to do |
|---|---|---|
not_found404 | No site the business counts has that domain or site_id. | Call analytics_list_sites and use a domain from it. |
invalid_input400 | The period, the from and to dates, a page pattern or a filter is not valid. | Fix the argument the message names. A custom period needs from and to as dates, like 2026-10-01. |
rate_limited429 | The business ran more analytics reports this minute than its limit allows. | Wait a minute, then call again. |
