# Get a link to a saved dashboard (`view_link`)

A one-time link to a saved page as it is now, for one person.

A one-time link to a saved view as it is now: the first browser that opens it keeps it for an hour, and an unopened link expires after 7 days. Make one per person.

Price: Free. A call that fails costs nothing.

`result`: view: the saved page; link: the one-time link, opens, expires_at and a note on how it opens.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No saved page has that name. | Call view_list for the names. |
| `invalid_input` | 400 | The name is not lowercase letters, digits and dashes. | Use a name like weekly-sales. |
