# Delete a saved dashboard (`view_delete`)

Deletes a saved page; its links stop working.

Delete a saved view; links to it stop working.

Price: Free. A call that fails costs nothing.

`result`: deleted: the name.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No saved page has that name. | Call view_list for the names. |
| `invalid_input` | 400 | The name is not lowercase letters, digits and dashes. | Use a name like weekly-sales. |
