# Export a table to CSV (`tables_export`)

A CSV of a table, or of the rows matching filters, saved in the file store with a download link.

`result`: file: the CSV with its file_id, name, size and download link; rows: how many it holds.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No table has that name or table_id, or the table has no column of that name. | Call tables_list for the tables and their columns. |
| `invalid_input` | 400 | A filter's op is unknown, compares with the wrong kind of value, or uses gt, gte, lt or lte on a column that is not a number or a date. | Use the ops this page lists, with values of the column's type. |
| `storage_full` | 409 | The file store has no room for the CSV. | Delete files with files_delete, or add room with files_add_storage. |
| `too_large` | 413 | The CSV would be over 25 MB. | Export fewer rows with filters. |
