# Get a prospect search (`prospects_get`)

A prospect search by id: its status, progress, its question when it asks one, and the prospects found with their contact details.

A prospect search by id: running, needs_input (it stopped finding new prospects and asks whether to widen it), completed, stopped or failed; its progress, its question when it asks one, and the prospects found so far, named people first: the company, the person and their title, the work email and how it was checked, phone, and whether they are saved to the CRM.

Price: Free up to 1,000,000 reads a month for the whole account, then $0.50 per 10,000 reads. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Use it when

To follow a search after starting it, and to read the prospects it found.

`result`: search_id, status (running, needs_input, completed, stopped or failed), summary, asked, found (with a working email), progress (stage, title, detail), question (summary and questions, while it waits), prospects (prospect_id; company with name, website, domain and country; person with name, title, location and LinkedIn; email with its address and check: verified, accepts_all or published; phone, saved), next_offset, charged_usd once it ended, started_at, ended_at, and problem when it failed.

## Errors
