# Mark someone interested or not (`outreach_set_status`)

Keep in the CRM whether someone outreach reached is interested or not; their pending emails stop.

Keep in the CRM whether someone your outreach reached is interested or not interested (their contact's outreach_status), by contact_id or email. Their pending outreach emails stop either way; not interested also puts them on the do-not-email list, so no campaign writes to them again. Their lifecycle stage stays as it is: change it with crm_update_contact when the person moves on.

Price: Free. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Use it when

After someone answers, once you or the person know where they stand.

- For moving them along the customer lifecycle, use [crm_update_contact](https://conecto.chat/tools/crm/crm_update_contact.md).

## Say this to your agent

> Maya from the Alder Street Hotel wants the trial bikes. Mark her as interested.

## Inputs

| Name | Type | Required | Description | Allowed values | Default |
