# Longlists

Find companies to buy, or the companies that could buy one, each scored out of 100 with its reasons written out. The agent gives the industry codes and the brief; Conecto searches the registers of France, Norway, the UK and Finland and scores every company the same way. A fact a register doesn't publish counts as unknown, never as a bad match.

Replaces: StrategyBridge Longlist, target lists bought from a data vendor.

## MCP server

`https://api.conecto.chat/mcp/longlists` connects the Longlists tools only, plus the account tools that come with every MCP server. It speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP; send the key as `Authorization: Bearer <conecto_sk_ key>`. Every tool here is also a REST call: `POST https://api.conecto.chat/v1/tools/<name>` with the arguments as a JSON object.

## ChatGPT and Claude

Add `https://api.conecto.chat/v1/mcp` as a connector in ChatGPT or Claude, one for every area, and tick Longlists when you sign in. It signs in with OAuth: someone on the account signs in on conecto.chat, ticks the areas it may use and allows it, and it runs on a key of its own that the owner can revoke.

## OpenAPI

For a custom GPT's Actions: `https://api.conecto.chat/v1/openapi/longlists.json` (OpenAPI 3.0, the key as a Bearer token). For Power Automate, Logic Apps and Copilot Studio connectors: `https://api.conecto.chat/v1/openapi/longlists.swagger.json` (OpenAPI 2.0, the key in the X-Api-Key header). Both list this area's tools and the account tools.

Prices: A company found $0.02 per company returned · a buyer $0.05 per buyer returned · nothing when none fit. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Tools

| Tool | What it does | Price |
|---|---|---|
| [longlists_find](https://conecto.chat/tools/longlists/longlists_find.md) | Companies that fit a brief (industry, headcount, revenue, distance, ownership) from four registers, each scored out of 100 with its reasons. | $0.02 per company returned. |
| [longlists_buyers](https://conecto.chat/tools/longlists/longlists_buyers.md) | Companies that could buy a company, in its industry or the value chain you name and at least twice its size, scored out of 100. | $0.05 per buyer returned. |

## Example jobs

- List the makers of food-service machinery in France and Norway with 20 to 200 staff that we could buy.
- Find kitchen-equipment makers with a site within 30 km of Lyon, family-run ones first.
- Name the bigger companies in our industry that could buy a competitor, and say why each would.
