# Change the spam blocklist (`hiring_update_blocklist`)

Blocks or unblocks networks and email domains; what comes from them is kept as spam, with no fee and no emails.

Block or unblock networks and email domains, like Greenhouse's spam blocklist. Applications from them are kept as spam: no $0.50 fee, no emails, out of hiring_list_applicants unless spam is true, and the sender sees the usual thank-you. Applications already in stay where they are. $0.001.

Price: $0.001 a call. A call that fails costs nothing.

Junk applications keep arriving from one network or one made-up domain.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |

| `not_set_up` | 404 | The business has no careers page yet. | Run hiring_setup_careers first. |
| `invalid_input` | 400 | An address or range is not one, a domain is not a domain or is a free provider such as gmail.com, or the list would pass 500 networks or 200 domains. | Fix what the message names; block a free provider's spammer by network. |
