# Write an article (`help_center_save_article`)

Creates an article or changes one, written in Markdown or HTML; it stays a draft until published.

Create an article (no id) or change one (id). Write the body as `markdown` (see the design guide) or `content` HTML. Every change is kept as a revision the owner can restore. Unpublished until published: true.

Price: $0.01 a call. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `tool_error` | 422 | No article has that id, a new article has no title, or a value is not valid. | Give a title for a new article; fix what the message names. |
