# Send a template for signature (`esign_send_template`)

Sends a saved template to new signers, one per role: one request, or up to 50 at once.

Send a saved template to new signers, one per role in the template's order: signers for one request, or sets for up to 50 at once (one request each, e.g. the same NDA to every new contractor). Each works like esign_send: emails, links, the signed PDF with its certificate. Emailing people outside the business needs an account that has topped up once. $0.50 per request sent.

Price: $0.50 per request sent. A call that fails costs nothing.

`result`: requests: each request sent, with its signers, their status and signing links.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No template has that name. | Call esign_list_templates for the names. |
| `invalid_input` | 400 | Neither or both of signers and sets were given, or a set does not have one signer per role. | Give one signer per role, in the roles' order. |
| `payment_required_for_outbound` | 402 | The balance is still free credit, which sends only to the owner. | Top up once (POST /v1/topups). |
| `not_found` | 404 | The template's PDF was deleted from the file store. | Save the template again. |
