# Tag records (`crm_tag_records`)

Adds and removes tags on up to 100 contacts, companies or deals at once.

Add and remove tags on up to 100 contacts, companies or deals at once, such as everyone who came to a webinar. A new tag is made on first use; tags match in any case. Find tagged records with the tag argument of the find tools.

Price: $0.001 per record tagged. A call that fails costs nothing.

A group of records gets or loses a label: everyone who came to an event, all autumn buyers.

`result`: tagged: how many records changed, missing_ids: ids that are not records of the business, and the tags added and removed.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |

| `invalid_input` | 400 | No tag to add or remove was given. | Send add, remove or both. |
| `not_found` | 404 | None of the ids is a record of the business. | Find the records with crm_search or the find tools and use their ids. |
