# Delete a pipeline (`crm_delete_pipeline`)

Deletes an empty pipeline; the last one stays.

Delete an empty pipeline (by id or name). A pipeline that holds deals cannot be deleted: move them to another pipeline first with crm_move_deal. The last pipeline cannot be deleted.

Price: $0.001 a call. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Use it when

A pipeline is no longer used and holds no deals.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No pipeline, or no stage in it, has that name or id. | Call crm_list_pipelines and use a pipeline and stage from it. |
| `conflict` | 409 | The pipeline still holds deals, or it is the only one. | Move its deals elsewhere with crm_move_deal first; the business always keeps one pipeline. |
