# Remove a person (`admin_remove_person`)

Takes a person's access away at once, with their own assistants.

Take someone's access away. It ends at once on every browser they signed in on, and their own assistants stop working. Removing an owner, admin or billing person is the owner's.

Price: Free. A call that fails costs nothing.

## Use it when

Someone left the business, or an advisor's work is done.

`result`: removed: their address; assistants_revoked: how many of their assistants stopped.

## Errors

| Code | Status | When | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| `not_found` | 404 | No one with that address is on the account. | admin_list_people lists them. |
| `owner_required` | 403 | The key doesn't run the account, or the person is an owner, admin or billing person. | Hand the owner a link: account_owner_link with page people. |
